Perth Food Producers and Sellers in Perth and Kinross

As a vegan visitor to Perth I always call in on this health shop as it is packed with all my essential and the staff are very helpful and friendly. This time they were recommending another shop The Cheese Byre that was doing a vegan cheese tasting this coming Sunday which I thought was very generous of them as they stock and sell vegan cheese themselves.

Decades old firm with two very local in feel, tiny shops where you can usually find (or order) what you're looking for. Opposite one another one stocks food, the other toiletries, vitamins etc. Organic salad/kale/spinach/ beans etc available weekly in spring/ summer. Perennialy helpful, knowledgeable, long-standing team. One of my favourite shops in town.

Firstly I have shopped here as my main grocery store since Morrisons opened in Perth. Generally a good store and fresh produce is decent quality. A word of caution to be extra careful when buying their 'offers'. Don't assume veg and fruit are treated the same, even if they have identical 2 for £3 stickers attached to packaging. I was disappointed with the gentleman employee on the desk and his attempt at an 'explanation'. Shame, really.

friendly staff, shop is always clean and well stocked. A good variety of stock and not as expensive as previously thought. Dome good bargains.
